The restaurant on-site serves solid food (the seafood is particularly fresh), though you'll definitely want to venture out for dinner a few nights to explore the local scene. Parking was easy and free, which seems rare these days, and the resort shuttle service to nearby attractions runs frequently enough that you don't feel stranded. Overall, The Palms Resort delivers exactly what a good 4-star property should – comfort, quality, and genuine hospitality without the pretension or sky-high prices of the ultra-luxury spots.
