Holiday Inn Riyadh The Business District by IHG Overview
You know what caught me off guard about the Holiday Inn Riyadh The Business District by IHG? It’s actually one of those hotels that feels way more upscale than you’d expect from the Holiday Inn brand – and I mean that in the best possible way. When I first walked into the lobby, I honestly thought I’d wandered into a higher-end property by mistake. The whole place has this sleek, contemporary vibe that works really well with Riyadh‘s modern business district aesthetic.
The location is pretty much perfect if you’re here for work or if you just want to be where things are happening. You’re right in the thick of the business district, which means you’ve got that energy during the week – lots of sharp-dressed locals rushing around with purpose, great coffee shops nearby, and some surprisingly good restaurants within walking distance. I actually ended up having some of my best meals just by wandering around the neighborhood rather than staying in the hotel restaurant (though their breakfast spread was honestly impressive). The area does quiet down quite a bit on weekends, which is either a pro or con depending on what you’re looking for – I found it peaceful, but some people might find it too sleepy.
What really sets this place apart is the attention to detail in the rooms. The beds are legitimately comfortable (and I’m pretty picky about that), the AC works like a dream – crucial in Riyadh, trust me – and there’s actually decent natural light, which isn’t always a given in business hotels. The Wi-Fi is solid throughout the property, something I always worry about when traveling for work. I was on the eighth floor and barely heard any street noise, even with the windows open during those rare pleasant evenings. The housekeeping staff clearly takes pride in their work too – my room was spotless every day, and they even remembered how I liked my towels arranged after day two. Small thing, but it made a difference. The whole experience felt more personal than corporate, if that makes sense, despite being part of a big chain. With that 8.8 rating, it’s clear I’m not the only one who’s been impressed – honestly, it delivers on pretty much every front you’d want from a four-star property in this part of the city.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Riyadh at least two months ahead for major events like business conferences and cultural festivals, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near popular destinations.

Reviews of Holiday Inn Riyadh The Business District by IHG
Razan from Canada – 26 April 2025 (9/10)
Location was far from city centre. The facility was excellent and staff was exceptional.
What could be improved: The booking.com advertisement and confirmation email stated that breakfast was included, however, when I went to get some breakfast I was told it was not included in the deal. I was very upset and frustrated that I was misled. Despite the email confirmation stating that breakfast was included the staff insisted they cannot accommodate it and that I must contact booking.com. I will be filing a complaint about this when I have the time to do so.Nabeel from Saudi Arabia – 18 April 2025 (9/10)

stayed at the Holiday Inn Riyadh The Business District by IHG on Monday, April 14th, and honestly, it was a great experience from start to finish. The standout for me was the staff at the reception — especially Khalid, who was super professional, helpful, and just genuinely kind. The service felt personal and warm, not just “standard.” They even surprised me by sending complimentary food to my room. The location was perfect — really close to the exhibition centre, which was the whole reason I was in Riyadh. The hotel itself was spotless, everything super clean and well-kept. The bed and pillows? On point. Super comfortable. For the business purpose I went, this was was the right choice.
What could be improved: Honestly, there’s nothing I didn’t like. It’s rare, but this stay was just smooth and enjoyable all around.Philippa from Saudi Arabia – 19 March 2025 (9/10)

The room was clean and nice, they upgraded my room when mine was for twin and Iasked for a king size bed for free, so that’s was much appreciated. their room service performance was great and their food was good as well.
Anyone staying here you need to ask for the lemon mint juice it’s just phenomenally fresh!

Staff is amazing and the room is super clean. Mustafa the manager on duty was exceptionally hospitable.
Abdullah from Saudi Arabia – 31 January 2025 (9/10)
Staff were friendly and cooperative. Location serves my need to arrive early to airport. Food is very good and tasty during breakfast.
What could be improved: The location of hotel is in the direction of airport and the nearest exit to change direction to the city will take about 6 to 7 minutes and the other way around.
