About this stay

About

You know what struck me first about the Cosy studio in Al Malqa with terrace, Prime location, Self Check-in? It's actually one of those places where the name tells you everything you need to know – and honestly, they're not overselling it. I mean, when I walked into this little studio, it felt like someone had put real thought into making the most of every square inch without making it feel cramped or cluttered.

The self check-in thing might sound impersonal, but it's actually pretty brilliant. No awkward lobby conversations when you roll up at 11 PM after a delayed flight, no waiting around – just grab your key info, head up, and you're sorted. The studio itself has this lived-in comfort that you don't usually get in hotels. There's proper counter space in the kitchenette (not just some sad mini-fridge situation), and the bed actually felt like a real bed, not one of those rock-hard hotel mattresses that leaves you wondering if you've somehow offended the sleep gods. But here's the real win – that terrace they mention isn't just some tiny balcony with barely room for a chair. You've got actual space out there, and depending on which way you're facing, some pretty decent views of Al Malqa sprawling out below.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays, even though you're right in the thick of things location-wise. The area's got this perfect balance where you can walk to plenty of spots for food and essentials, but it doesn't feel like you're trying to sleep next to a highway. The 9.3 rating makes total sense once you've been there – it's not trying to be fancy or impress anyone, it's just genuinely comfortable and functional in all the ways that actually matter when you're traveling. The little details got to me too, like having enough outlets near the bed (revolutionary concept, I know) and proper curtains that actually block light if you need to sleep in. Honestly, for what you're paying and the freedom of having your own little setup with that outdoor space, it's one of those finds that makes you feel a bit smug about your booking skills. Just don't expect a concierge or daily housekeeping – this is very much a "you handle your own situation" kind of place, which personally I found refreshing after staying in places where someone's constantly asking if you need more towels.

Kease Malqa Royal Blackness

First Impressions Walking into Kease Malqa Royal Blackness, you immediately sense this isn’t your typical business hotel. The name might sound dramatic, but honestly, it fits — there’s something distinctly regal about the dark marble lobby and the way staff glide around with that particular Saudi hospitality that feels both formal and genuinely warm. I […]

Crowne Plaza Riyadh Palace, an IHG Hotel

First Impressions Walking into Crowne Plaza Riyadh Palace, an IHG Hotel, you immediately sense this is a place that knows its business. The lobby has that polished, professional feel you’d expect from a four-star property, but there’s something warmer here — maybe it’s the way the staff actually remembers your name after the first day. Elegant and luxurious apartment Al-Olaya

First Impressions Walking into Elegant and luxurious apartment Al-Olaya, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from a three-star property in this part of Riyadh. But you know what? Sometimes the best surprises come in understated packages. The building sits quietly in Al Sulimania, and while it doesn’t scream elegance from the outside, there’s something […]

شقة فندقية فاخرة 31b

Look, I’ll be honest with you – when I first heard the name شقة فندقية فاخرة 31b, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The Arabic translates to “luxury hotel apartment,” and honestly, that’s exactly what you get here, though the experience turned out to be way more personal than I anticipated. What struck me right […]
