I’ll be honest – when I first heard about GAZLA, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The name doesn’t give much away, and you know how some hotels can be all flash with no substance. But this 4-star spot really surprised me in the best way possible. There’s something understated about the whole place that I actually found refreshing. The lobby has this warm, lived-in feeling (in a good way) – not sterile like some chain hotels where you feel like you’re walking through a furniture showroom.

What really struck me was how the staff seemed to genuinely know their stuff without being overly formal about it. During check-in, the front desk person mentioned little details about the area that you’d only pick up if you’d actually spent time there – like which nearby restaurants get crowded on weekends and when’s the best time to avoid the afternoon rush if you’re heading out. The rooms are well-appointed without trying too hard, if that makes sense. Everything works properly (thank god), the beds are actually comfortable, and the bathrooms have decent water pressure – honestly, sometimes it’s the basics that matter most when you’re traveling.

The 8.7 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed there. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it delivers on what matters. I noticed they keep things pretty quiet in the evenings, which I appreciated after some long days exploring. The housekeeping is thorough without being intrusive, and they’ve got this knack for timing – I never felt rushed during checkout, but they also weren’t hovering around waiting for me to leave. What I found interesting is how they’ve managed to maintain that boutique hotel feel while still having the reliability you expect from a 4-star property. You know what I mean – places that look charming but then the wifi cuts out every ten minutes, or the air conditioning sounds like a freight train. None of that here. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels genuine without sacrificing comfort, GAZLA hits that sweet spot. It’s the kind of place where you can actually relax instead of constantly wondering if something’s going to go wrong with your stay.

  Firstly, I liked 24h reception, so both check-in and check-out were professionally handled and easy. The rooms were clean, very comfortable and there was big space. We didn’t eat so I can’t rate the food. Location is good, near to the airport around 15-20 min by taxi. Staff were delightful and eager to help if they understand what we wanted.

  staff especially Mustafa was friendly and helpful. made our stay comfortable and we felt at home. cleaning was done well and daily apartment cleaning at your request. rooms were well built and great kitchen , tv, and living room, beds and toilet – compact and yet not cramped. all devices e.g. microwave , tv, wifi airconditioning work well. no wifi issues at all. great parking for residents, near by small groceries and egyptian restaurant.

  Staff were amazing. Very friendly and hospitable and accommodative to my many requests. Special thanks to Mr. Mustafa at reception as was an amazing host and truly understood the value of good costumer value. He went above and beyond with being helpful.
  Room was spacious and comfortable and had most of the basics in need. Beddings were also comfortable and clean. The hotel was usually quite which I appreciated, only drawback some housekeeping activities at night which should be limited to 9pm max.
  Overall good value for money.
