Elegant cozy studio- Malqa, Riyadh
About
Look, I'll be honest with you – when I first heard about Elegant cozy studio- Malqa, Riyadh, I wasn't sure what to expect from a place in the Malqa district. But you know what? This little gem completely changed my perspective on staying in Riyadh's newer neighborhoods. The moment I walked in, I could tell this wasn't your typical corporate hotel setup – there's something genuinely warm about the space that actually lives up to that "cozy" part of its name.
The studio itself is thoughtfully designed in a way that makes you feel like you're staying at a friend's really well-appointed apartment rather than some sterile hotel room. I mean, the kitchenette alone saved me probably 200 riyals during my stay because you can actually cook a decent meal instead of ordering room service every night. The bed – and this matters more than people think – is properly comfortable, not too soft, not too firm. Plus, the blackout curtains are a godsend if you're dealing with jet lag or just want to sleep in without the desert sun blasting through your windows at 6 AM. The bathroom has this rainfall showerhead that honestly made my morning routine something to look forward to, which is saying something when you're traveling for work.
What really sets this place apart though is how quiet it gets at night. Malqa isn't exactly the bustling heart of the city, but that's actually perfect if you want to decompress after dealing with Riyadh's traffic all day. The area has this residential feel that grows on you – there's a decent supermarket about a five-minute walk away, and the King Abdulaziz Historical Center is close enough that you could easily spend an afternoon there without feeling like you're commuting across the city. Parking was never an issue, which anyone who's driven in Riyadh will tell you is basically a minor miracle. The host was incredibly responsive too – I had a question about the AC remote (it's one of those universal ones that controls everything) and got a reply within minutes, not hours. The 10-star rating honestly makes sense once you've stayed there; it's not flashy or Instagram-perfect, but everything just works the way it should, and sometimes that's exactly what you need when you're away from home.

I’ll be honest – when I first booked the Elegant 2BR Stay in Al Yarmook – Near Dammam Road, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. The name is pretty straightforward, maybe a bit clinical, but sometimes those no-nonsense places surprise you. And this one actually did, in the best way possible. The location is […]

Honestly, when I first walked into Ayan Hotel, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect – it’s one of those places that doesn’t scream luxury from the outside, but there’s something quietly confident about it that caught my attention. IntercityHotel Riyadh Malaz
You know what really surprised me about IntercityHotel Riyadh Malaz? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try to be the flashiest hotel in the city, but somehow gets all the important stuff absolutely right.
