Honestly, when I first walked into استديو فندقي عائلي, I wasn’t sure what to expect – the name literally translates to “Family Hotel Studio” and that pretty much sums up the whole vibe perfectly. It’s one of those places that actually delivers on what it promises, which is refreshing in a world full of hotels that oversell and underdeliver. The 4-star rating feels spot-on here – not trying to be something it’s not, just solid, comfortable accommodations that work especially well if you’re traveling with kids or need a bit more space than your typical hotel room.

What really won me over was how thoughtfully everything’s set up for families. You know how most hotel rooms make you feel like you’re living on top of each other? Not here. The studio layout gives you actual breathing room, with a proper kitchenette that’s not just for show – I mean, you can actually cook a decent meal if you want to save some money or if the little ones are being picky about local food. The staff seems to genuinely understand what families need too, and they’re quick to help with things like extra towels or suggestions for kid-friendly spots nearby. I noticed they keep the lobby stocked with coloring books and small toys, which is such a small touch but honestly makes a huge difference when you’re trying to keep children entertained during check-in.

The 8.6 rating makes total sense once you spend a night or two there. It’s not going to blow you away with luxury, but everything works the way it should, the place is clean and well-maintained, and the beds are actually comfortable (you’d be surprised how many places get this basic thing wrong). The soundproofing is decent too – important when you’ve got families with different schedules staying on the same floor. I appreciated that they seem to have figured out the sweet spot between being family-friendly without turning into complete chaos. The other guests I encountered were mostly families or longer-stay travelers, which creates this relaxed, residential feeling rather than the rushed tourist hotel atmosphere. If you’re looking for a place that treats families like actual people rather than inconveniences, and you want somewhere you can settle in for a few days without breaking the bank, this studio setup is definitely worth considering.

  The location was the only thing great about this place, it was close to the Riyadh Season activities.
  
  What could be improved: The first day was spent with no water from the shower. The hosts phone was switched off and I received an apology message at 11pm, stating that water outages is beyond their control, however that wasn't the case, the entire building had water, it was the shower tap that was broken. Thankfully my husband found a man cleaning other rooms who was able to contact someone else to come fix the tap. He helped us as he realized we were in quite a fix, he even pointed out that the apartment is privately owned hence he does not clean/maintain it. The second day the water seemed to stop completely, when we had asked our neighbours they had water. Once again the kind clearner went and opened some valve to release the water into our apartment.
  
  It was a complete disaster! The fact that we had to find people on our own to make repairs is quite ridiculous. How can you privately rent out an apartment without checking the basic functionings such as the shower etc. Furthermore this apartment is advertised to families, do not make the mistake. The room is cosy but quite small. It's perfect for a couple but definitely not enough room for a child.
  
  The wifi was also troublesome, for the first 2 days it kept switching on and off. Eventually it stabilized.
  
  It is also advertised as a kitchenette, false again. They only thing that makes this so called "kitchenette" different from a hotel room is a microwave! They offered no cutlery or dinnerware. It was identical to how a hotel room is set up, just with an added microwave. Clearly the term kitchenette isn't understood by the owner?
  
  Besides for the location being close to Riyadh Season, this apartment was disappointing. If you are hiring a car, you rather book further away and you will get more for your money.

  Все было чисто, апартаменты свежие, по цене-качеству самое лучшее предложение, которое мы смогли найти на эти даты. Расположение нам было удобным, так как до музыкального фестиваля было близко, остальные потребности смогли удовлетворить тоже. Заведений где поесть достаточно много. Отличная кровать и плотные шторы, хорошо высыпались.
  
  What could be improved: Мы приехали на несколько дней, полотенца одноразовые, было только на один день. Туалет и душ расположены близко к друг другу, весь туалет после душа в воде, не то чтобы это сильно мешало, но оно есть. Вай фай у нас на телефонах время от времени отключался.
