Nova M Hotel, Edge by Rotana
About
You know what caught me off guard about Nova M Hotel, Edge by Rotana? It's one of those places that doesn't try too hard to impress you with flashy lobbies or over-the-top amenities, but somehow manages to get all the important stuff right. I mean, when you're dealing with a 4-star property, you kind of expect a certain level of comfort – and honestly, this place delivers on that promise without any of the pretentious attitude you sometimes get with hotel chains.
The thing that really struck me during my stay was how the staff actually seemed to care about making sure you had what you needed. Not in that rehearsed, scripted way that makes you feel like you're talking to a robot, but more like they genuinely wanted to help. The check-in process was smooth – no unnecessary upselling or lengthy presentations about facilities I probably wouldn't use anyway. The rooms themselves are well-appointed without being cluttered, and I appreciated that the AC actually worked properly (you'd be surprised how often that's an issue). The bedding was comfortable enough that I didn't spend half the night adjusting pillows, and the bathroom had decent water pressure – honestly, those little details matter way more than fancy marble countertops.
What I found interesting is how the hotel manages to feel both modern and unpretentious at the same time. The common areas have this clean, contemporary vibe without being sterile, and there's usually a good buzz of activity without it feeling chaotic. The dining options are solid – not groundbreaking, but the kind of reliable quality where you can grab breakfast without worrying about whether it'll be edible. I actually ended up eating there more often than I initially planned because the food was consistently good and the service was quick enough that I wasn't sitting around forever waiting for my coffee. The 8.1 rating makes perfect sense to me because this is exactly the kind of place that does what it promises without any major surprises, good or bad. It's the sort of hotel where you can focus on whatever brought you to the area instead of dealing with accommodation headaches. If you're looking for Instagram-worthy luxury, you might want to look elsewhere, but if you want a comfortable base where everything just works the way it should, this place hits that sweet spot.

Very good location, hotel facilities look like new. Due to Our first stay We received an upgrade to a bigger room
Everything was good for a four-star hotel, clean quiet, cozy hotel, but what made me upset was waiting for my room to be ready for check-in. We booked two connected rooms, and we waited from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., even though we were given one room and the other room needed time to be ready. This is not logical, and the front desk staff She told me this was because of Housekeeping, not us??? Have I spoken with the housekeeping manager to complain?!However, I am aware that each hotel industry has a manager in charge of managing such situations, such as providing an upgrade as compensation for waiting or doing anything else to make guest impression you are trying to make them satisfied .
Exquisite!
Very good hotel. Very clean, big comfortable beds, nice smell all around hotel. Free sauna, steam room and gym. Next to metro station. Massage avaliable but needs to be paid for. Also, Uber will get you anywhere for 20-30 rials.
The staff: Great service provided by the staff, specially at Nova’s breakfast area. Friendly and welcoming staffs like Saquilin, Nur Yusuf and Didarul really made us had a good start of our day during breakfast. Because of their multi-lingual skills (English, Bengali, Hindi/Urdu), it really helped our queries as it was our first visit to Riyadh and we hardly understand Arabic. The location: You can see the beautiful Kingdom Tower; 15 minutes walk to Al-Urubah metro station (The Riyadh Metro network commenced passenger operations on Sunday, December 1st 2024 #Vision2030); 7 minutes drive to Al-Olaya where there some great restaurants to try. 16-20 minutes drive to Bujairi Terrace, At-Turaif World Heritage Site in Diriyah Gym & Swimming Pool: Great including friendly staff like Mohammed in that area.
One of the best hotels I've ever been. The room was very well furnished with quality material and super clean. The entire staff was super attentive and ready to solve any of my inquiries. Breakfast was amazing, a variety of food selection and also a dedicated healty food section. They gym was great, the staff welcomed me very nicely everyday. I wish I can visit again soon.
So comfortable bed mattress and pillow. The room are super clean. Location is good, 3 mins from the metro which is about to open soon. Breakfast nice
It was a great and clean hotel.
The suite is good and spacious - starbucks in the lobby is the best.
Amazing hotel with friendly staff who are so ready to support you whenever needed. I was travelling alone with kids and they helped me every day with bags, carrying my sleeping children and so much more. Thank you everyone at Nova M.

You know what caught me off guard about شقق الهدوء Alhudu Apartments? The name literally means “tranquility apartments” in Arabic, and honestly – they weren’t kidding around with that choice.
