What really struck me was how they’ve managed to blend traditional Middle Eastern hospitality with modern comfort without it feeling forced or touristy. The rooms have these beautiful geometric patterns worked into the headboards and window treatments – subtle touches that feel authentic rather than like someone’s idea of “exotic” décor. The beds are properly comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and the bathrooms are spacious with good water pressure, which honestly matters more than fancy toiletries when you’re trying to rinse off after a long day of exploring. The Wi-Fi actually works consistently throughout the building too – not always a given, even with higher-rated places.

I particularly loved the quiet hours in the early evening when the common areas have this peaceful, almost meditative quality. You’ll often find guests lingering over tea or coffee, and there’s something genuinely relaxing about the whole atmosphere. The breakfast spread is generous without being overwhelming – fresh pastries, local specialties mixed with familiar options, and coffee that’s strong enough to properly wake you up. Parking was straightforward, which saved me the headache of circling around looking for street spots, and check-in was smooth even though I arrived earlier than expected. Look, no place is absolutely perfect, but the few minor things I could nitpick (like the elevator being a bit slow during busy times) pale in comparison to how well they handle the fundamentals. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels welcoming rather than just efficient, this place gets it right.
