You know what caught me off guard about Unique Suites? The name actually lives up to itself – and honestly, that’s rare these days when every hotel claims to be “unique” or “boutique.” I mean, this 4-star place really does feel different from the cookie-cutter properties you usually stumble into.

The suites themselves are where this place shines. Each one has its own personality – I’m talking genuinely distinct layouts and design choices, not just different throw pillow colors. The one I stayed in had this quirky split-level setup with the bedroom tucked up a few steps, which sounds weird but actually created this nice sense of separation. The bathrooms are surprisingly spacious too, with proper counter space (you travelers know how frustrating those tiny hotel vanities can be). What I really appreciated was the attention to lighting – they’ve got multiple sources in each room, so you’re not stuck with that harsh overhead fluorescent situation that makes you look like you’re in a police lineup.

The staff runs a pretty tight ship here, and the 8.3 rating makes sense once you’ve been there a few days. Check-in was smooth – no standing around while they fumbled with the computer system – and they actually seemed to know what was happening in the area when I asked for recommendations. The housekeeping is thorough without being intrusive; they managed to clean around my stuff without making it look like they’d reorganized my entire life. Honestly, the breakfast situation exceeded my expectations for a mid-tier place like this. They rotate some of the offerings, so if you’re staying multiple nights, you won’t be staring at the same sad continental spread every morning. The coffee is actually decent too – not that watery hotel coffee that tastes like it was brewed sometime last week. One small thing that bugged me was the elevator can be a bit slow during busy periods, but that’s pretty minor in the grand scheme of things. The Wi-Fi holds up well even when you’re streaming, which is more than I can say for a lot of places in this price range. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels a bit more personal than those massive chain hotels but still delivers on the basics, this place hits that sweet spot.

  In overall, hotel facilities are very good, very clean and very well maintained. Only minor things: water shower is not strong enough. It would be better if pump capacity is increased to get water flow from shower is adequate.

  I liked the fact that the front desk officers could speak English. It made it easy for me. Location was on point. Hayat mall was directly opposite and everything I needed was there. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean too. I'll be back again and again.
