Su Casa Hostel
About
You know what surprised me most about Su Casa Hostel? The name actually means something here – it really does feel like someone's home, just with way better WiFi and a front desk. I mean, I've stayed in plenty of places that throw around the "home away from home" thing, but this one actually delivers on it without being cheesy about it.
The whole vibe hits you right when you walk in. There's this comfortable buzz of conversation – not the rowdy backpacker chaos you might expect, but more like friends catching up over coffee. The common areas actually work, if that makes sense. I spent way more time than planned just hanging out in their lounge area, partly because the seating is genuinely comfortable (rare in hostels, honestly) and partly because you end up chatting with other travelers who seem to have their act together. The 9.6 rating isn't just inflated reviews – you can feel why people love this place within about ten minutes of being there.
What really sets it apart is the attention to details that matter when you're actually living somewhere, even temporarily. The bathrooms are spotless – like, genuinely clean, not just hostel-clean – and there's always hot water, which sounds basic but you'd be amazed how many places mess this up. The beds are solid too, none of that squeaky bunk bed nonsense that keeps everyone awake. I'm a light sleeper and actually slept through the night, which says something. They've got this balance figured out where it feels social when you want it to be, but you can also just do your own thing without feeling antisocial. The kitchen setup is particularly smart – enough space that you're not bumping elbows with five other people trying to make pasta, and they actually provide decent cookware, not just a sad collection of bent pots.
The staff deserves a mention too. They're helpful without being overbearing, and they actually know the area well enough to give recommendations that go beyond the obvious tourist spots. I got pointed toward a local coffee shop that became my morning routine – the kind of insider tip that makes a difference. Honestly, the whole operation feels professionally run while still maintaining that relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere that makes you want to extend your stay. For a 4-star hostel with ratings this high, they're not resting on their reputation – they're actually earning it every day.

I had a wonderful time staying here. The facilities are excellent, my bed was extremely comfortable, the location is great and very near a large supermarket, but the best part is the people. The staff are extremely kind and helpful, and I met wonderful people from all around the world — and had music and conversation for three days, nonstop. This is a true hostel. Thank you so much!!
Everyone was super friendly. You can chill on your own or hang out with others. You can cook as well also its very neat & clean. One of the best hostel experience I ever had. There’s this cat that you gotta love as well.
The place is sparkling clean and new. The host and employees were very friendly, thanks for the experience, it's qorth much more than i payed for. Hope it stays like this in the future 😁
