There are local cafes within walking distance, and I found a great traditional restaurant just two blocks away that served some of the best kabsa I had during my entire trip. The area feels safe for walking, even in the evenings, and you’ll see families out and about which always gives me confidence in a neighborhood.

The free parking on-site is honestly a game-changer if you’re renting a car — which I’d recommend for getting around Riyadh properly. No circling the block looking for spots or paying daily fees that add up fast. The Wi-Fi actually works well throughout the studio, which isn’t always a given. Housekeeping comes by regularly but isn’t intrusive, and the front desk staff (well, the building management really) speaks decent English and was helpful with local recommendations. Air conditioning works perfectly, which in Riyadh is basically non-negotiable.
