Staff-wise, they seem to get that most guests are either coming or going somewhere else, so they’re pretty efficient with everything. Check-in was smooth, and they had this whole system down for early arrivals and late departures. The restaurant isn’t going to win any awards, but the food is solid – they do a decent international breakfast buffet and their Arabic coffee is actually quite good. I spent some time in their lobby area working on my laptop, and the WiFi held up fine for video calls back home. Honestly, for what it is – a well-run airport hotel in Riyadh – it delivers exactly what you need without trying to be something it’s not. If you’re connecting through King Khalid International or need a reliable place to stay near the airport, this Marriott does the job well. Just don’t expect to explore the city much from here – you’re pretty committed to the airport area, but sometimes that’s exactly what your travel plans call for.
