About this stay

About

I'll be honest - when I first pulled up to Ramada by Wyndham Hotel Riyadh, I wasn't sure what to expect from a mid-tier chain in Saudi Arabia's capital. But you know what? This place actually surprised me in the best way possible. The lobby hits you with that polished marble feel that screams "we take hospitality seriously," and the staff genuinely seemed happy to see guests walk through the door, which isn't always a given at four-star properties.

The thing about staying in Riyadh is that the city can feel pretty overwhelming if you don't know your way around - it's massive, the traffic is intense, and honestly, finding a hotel that feels like a proper home base makes all the difference. What I really appreciated here was how the rooms manage to feel both modern and comfortable without trying too hard. The beds are actually decent (I'm picky about mattresses), the air conditioning works like a dream - which, trust me, you'll need during those scorching summer months - and the bathrooms are clean with good water pressure. I mean, these details might sound boring, but when you're dealing with jet lag and trying to figure out Saudi culture, having a solid room to retreat to is everything.

The restaurant situation is pretty solid too, though I'd recommend venturing out for dinner at least once - Riyadh's food scene is incredible if you know where to look. What really won me over was the little things: the way housekeeping actually listened when I asked for extra towels, how the front desk staff helped me figure out the prayer time schedule (super important for planning your day), and the fact that the Wi-Fi actually works consistently throughout the building. Look, it's not the fanciest place you'll ever stay, but for a 7.8 rating, it delivers exactly what it promises. The location puts you close enough to the main business districts without being right in the chaos, and honestly, after a day of navigating Saudi bureaucracy or exploring the old souks, you'll appreciate coming back somewhere that just... works. It's one of those hotels where everything runs smoothly enough that you can focus on why you came to Saudi Arabia in the first place, rather than dealing with accommodation headaches.

Riyadh's hotels showcase the perfect blend of traditional Arabian elegance and modern luxury hospitality, with many featuring spa services and authentic Saudi cultural experiences.

شقة بتصميم حديث وجاكوزي وعازل

Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name شقة بتصميم حديث وجاكوزي وعازل, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. The Arabic translates to something like “modern design apartment with jacuzzi and soundproofing,” which honestly sounds a bit clinical on paper. But you know what? Sometimes the straightforward places surprise you the […]
