Nove studio in AlMalqa District
About
I'll be honest – when I first heard about Nove studio in AlMalqa District, I wasn't sure what to expect. The name doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, and well, the address situation is a bit mysterious (more on that later). But after spending a few nights there, I'm actually pretty impressed with what they've put together in this corner of Riyadh.
The studio setup is really well thought out – it's like someone actually considered how people live and work when they travel. You know what I mean? Instead of cramming a tiny desk in the corner like most hotels do, they've created these spaces that feel more like a friend's apartment than a sterile hotel room. The 4-star rating feels about right, honestly. It's not trying to be the Ritz, but everything works properly and there's a modern feel throughout that I appreciated. The 8.0 guest rating makes sense too – people seem to genuinely like staying here, though I suspect some of the minor quirks (like the address thing) might ding it from being a perfect score.
Here's the thing about AlMalqa District that most travelers don't realize until they get there – it's actually become this interesting blend of residential and business areas. You're not stuck in some touristy bubble, which I loved. I could walk around and see how locals actually live, grab coffee from places that weren't charging tourist prices, and the whole area has this authentic energy during the day. Parking was surprisingly easy, which anyone who's driven around Riyadh will tell you is no small miracle. The neighborhood gets pretty quiet after business hours, so if you're someone who needs perfect sleep (like me), you'll appreciate not having traffic noise all night. I did notice the studio can get a bit warm in the afternoons – nothing the AC can't handle, but just something to keep in mind if you're sensitive to temperature changes. The check-in process was smooth, though I'd recommend having the hotel's phone number handy since, well, the address situation means your GPS might get a little confused. The staff were genuinely helpful with directions, not just the polite-but-useless kind of helpful you sometimes get. What really sold me on this place was how it felt after a long day of meetings or sightseeing – you walk in and it actually feels like coming home rather than returning to a hotel room. That's rarer than you'd think, especially at this price point.

It’s one of those places that doesn’t try too hard to impress you with flashy lobbies or over-the-top amenities, but somehow ends up being exactly what you need. I mean, when you’re dealing with a solid 4-star hotel pulling an 8.3 rating, there’s usually a […]

First Impressions Walking into شقة Boho أنيقة – غرفةوصالة حي الملقا ذاتية, you immediately get that “this is different” feeling. It’s not your typical hotel setup — this is actually a stylish apartment that feels more like staying at a design-savvy friend’s place than a standard accommodation. The boho aesthetic isn’t overdone either, which I […]
