The staff here gets it right in that understated way that’s hard to find. They’re not hovering over you with fake smiles, but when you need something, they’re genuinely helpful. Check-in was smooth – no drama, no long waits, just efficient and friendly. I had a question about local transport one evening, and the front desk person didn’t just hand me a generic map but actually walked me through the best route and mentioned which times to avoid the crowds. That kind of local insight is worth its weight in gold, honestly. The 7.9 rating makes sense when you experience this level of service – it’s solid, reliable, and occasionally exceeds expectations without trying too hard. Sure, it’s not going to blow your mind with over-the-top luxury (and the price reflects that, thankfully), but there’s something refreshing about a place that just does the fundamentals really well. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building, the hot water doesn’t randomly disappear mid-shower, and the noise levels are reasonable even on weekends. These might sound like basic things, but you’d be surprised how many places mess up the basics while focusing on flashy amenities nobody uses.
