Madareem Hotel
About
You know what caught me off guard about Madareem Hotel? It's one of those places that doesn't immediately scream luxury from the street, but once you step inside, you realize the owners actually know what they're doing. I mean, with a solid 8.2 rating, I was expecting something decent, but this four-star spot honestly exceeded what I thought I'd get for the price point.
The lobby has this understated elegance thing going on – not trying too hard with massive chandeliers or marble everywhere, but there's definitely thought put into the design. The staff at check-in were genuinely helpful (not just going through the motions), and I appreciated that they seemed to know the area well when I asked about getting around. The rooms are what you'd hope for from a proper four-star – clean lines, comfortable bedding that actually lets you sleep, and bathrooms that feel modern without being sterile. Actually, the shower pressure was surprisingly good, which, let's be honest, can make or break a hotel stay. I noticed they've paid attention to the little things too – decent lighting for reading, enough outlets near the bed, and blackout curtains that actually block light.
What I really liked was how the place felt during different times of day. Mornings were calm and efficient, with breakfast service that didn't feel rushed, and evenings had this relaxed atmosphere where you could actually unwind in the common areas without feeling like you were sitting in a corporate waiting room. The hotel seems to attract a good mix of business travelers and people just exploring the area, so there's energy without chaos. Honestly, it's the kind of place where the 8.2 rating makes perfect sense – not groundbreaking, but solid in all the ways that matter when you're trying to get a good night's sleep and start your day right. If you're looking for something reliable without the premium price tag of the big international chains, Madareem delivers on that promise pretty well.

Close to Business meeting. Good reception by staff.
Good
Breakfast was buffet style with a large selection of warm dishes, bread, yoghurt, fruits. Eggs in all kinds of styles are made on order. Plenty of choice and all fresh. Large swimmingpool area with a restaurant serving lunch and diner in buffet style. Again with a large selection of local and international dishes incl dessert buffet.
Everything was great, receptionists are so friendly
