The lobby has this understated elegance that immediately put me at ease, and I have to say, the check-in process was refreshingly smooth. No pretentious marble everywhere or over-the-top chandeliers, just clean lines and comfortable seating that makes you feel like you can actually relax. The staff genuinely seemed to care about getting you sorted quickly rather than upselling you on every possible add-on, which – let's be real – is becoming rarer these days. My room was ready earlier than expected, and they even offered to help with my bags without making it feel like they were angling for a tip.
What really won me over, though, was how well-maintained everything felt. You know how some hotels look great in photos but then you notice the worn carpet edges and questionable shower pressure? Not here. The rooms are spacious enough that you're not constantly bumping into furniture, and the beds are actually comfortable – not too firm, not too soft, just that sweet spot where you wake up feeling rested instead of wondering why your back hurts.
