The rooms are similar – you’ve got these really plush linens and a rainfall shower that’s honestly better than the one in my apartment, but then there’s also this brilliant lighting system where you can dim everything from the bedside without fumbling around for different switches. Small thing, but when you’re jet-lagged and stumbling around at 3 AM, it’s pure genius.

The service here is what really sets it apart though. It’s not that overly formal, white-glove stuff that makes you feel like you need to whisper – it’s more like having a really competent friend who happens to work in hospitality. The front desk team actually remembers your name after the first day, and they seem to genuinely care about solving problems rather than just checking boxes. I had this issue with the air conditioning making this weird clicking noise, and instead of just sending maintenance to “look at it,” they moved me to a different room within ten minutes and upgraded me in the process. No drama, no forms to fill out – just fixed. You can tell they’ve got their systems down to a science, but in a way that feels effortless rather than robotic. The housekeeping is similarly on point – they managed to clean around my stuff without making it look like a crime scene investigation, which honestly is rarer than it should be. One thing I particularly appreciated was how quiet the place stays, even when it’s clearly busy. The walls must be really well insulated because I never heard my neighbors, and the hallway carpeting is thick enough that you don’t get those annoying footstep echoes at all hours.
