I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Kease Yasmin – Royal Design, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The “royal design” part had me wondering if it would be over-the-top gaudy, you know? But actually, stepping into this 4-star place was a pleasant surprise. The design hits that sweet spot between elegant and approachable – think rich fabrics and warm lighting without the stuffiness that sometimes comes with places trying too hard to be fancy.

What really won me over was how they’ve managed to create these intimate spaces throughout the hotel that don’t feel cramped. The lobby has these cozy seating areas where you can actually have a conversation without shouting over echoing marble (thank goodness for that). The staff genuinely seems to remember guests’ names, which is rarer than it should be these days. During check-in, the front desk manager mentioned a local café that serves incredible pastries just a short walk away – the kind of insider tip that makes a difference when you’re exploring somewhere new.

The rooms themselves live up to that royal design promise without going overboard. I mean, the beds are seriously comfortable, and they’ve got these blackout curtains that actually work – crucial if you’re dealing with jet lag or just want to sleep in. The bathrooms have good water pressure (honestly, why is this so hit-or-miss at hotels?), and there’s enough counter space to spread out your toiletries without playing Tetris. One small thing that impressed me: they’ve got USB ports built into the bedside tables, so you’re not crawling around on the floor looking for outlets behind furniture. With an 8.5 rating, it’s clear other travelers have noticed these thoughtful touches too. The hotel tends to fill up during peak season, so if you’re planning a visit, booking ahead is definitely smart – especially since word seems to be getting out about this place. It’s one of those hotels that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something special, even though you’re getting solid value for what you pay.
