The rooms themselves are solid – nothing fancy, but the beds are comfortable and the AC works like a dream (crucial during those scorching summer months). I stayed on the seventh floor and barely heard any street noise, which was a pleasant surprise given how busy the area gets during peak hours.

What I really appreciated was how the hotel handles the practical stuff well. Check-in was quick, the WiFi actually works throughout the building, and they have a decent business center if you need to print boarding passes or whatever. The breakfast buffet is pretty standard Holiday Inn fare, but they do include some local touches like fresh dates and Arabic bread that make it feel less generic. The pool area is small but clean, and honestly, it’s a nice escape when you need a break from exploring the city. I noticed they keep the common areas spotless, and the elevators are fast – small details that matter when you’re coming and going frequently. The only minor gripe I have is that the gym is pretty basic, but if you’re looking for a solid, reliable place to stay in central Riyadh without breaking the bank, this Holiday Inn delivers exactly what it promises.
