The bathroom was clean and had decent water pressure, which matters more than people realize when you’re dealing with travel fatigue. One thing I really appreciated was the blackout curtains – they actually blocked out light, unlike those flimsy things you get at chain hotels that let every street lamp shine through.

What really struck me about this place was the neighborhood feel. You’re not stuck in some sterile hotel district where everything closes at 9 PM. There’s real life happening around you, and honestly, that’s part of what makes travel interesting. I could hear the city humming outside my window – not obnoxiously loud, just… alive. The 7.4 rating seems about right to me; it’s not going to blow you away with luxury touches, but it delivers on the fundamentals without any nasty surprises. Parking was easier than expected too, which saved me the headache of circling blocks looking for a spot. Look, if you’re the type who needs a spa and room service menu, this probably isn’t your place. But if you want a clean, comfortable base that doesn’t cost a fortune and puts you in the middle of things rather than isolating you from them, Granada Palace Inn does exactly what it promises.
