Gardino Hotel & Residence
About
You know what really struck me about the Gardino Hotel & Residence when I first walked in? It's got this perfect balance between feeling upscale and actually being comfortable - and I mean that in the best way possible. So many 4-star places try too hard to impress you with marble everything, but this place just feels... right. The lobby has this warm, residential vibe that makes sense once you realize it's part hotel, part extended-stay residence, which honestly works out great for regular travelers.
The rooms are where this place really shines, actually. I've stayed in the hotel side twice now, and both times I was impressed by how thoughtfully everything's laid out. The kitchenette setup isn't just some afterthought - you can actually cook a decent meal if you want to, though I'll admit I mostly used it for morning coffee and keeping leftovers from the amazing restaurants nearby. The beds are properly comfortable (not too soft, not like sleeping on concrete), and here's something I always notice - the blackout curtains actually work. You'd be surprised how many places mess that up. The bathroom's got good water pressure too, which... well, you appreciate these things when you travel a lot.
What I really love about this place is how it doesn't feel touristy, if that makes sense. The staff knows what they're doing without being overly formal about it - check-in was smooth both times, and when I had a question about local transport, the front desk guy gave me actual useful advice instead of just handing me a generic map. The 8.4 rating makes total sense to me because it's one of those places that just consistently gets the important stuff right. Parking was straightforward (and included, which is always nice), the wifi actually works throughout the building, and it's quiet enough that you can sleep but not so removed that you feel disconnected. I mean, there were a few minor things - the air conditioning took a while to kick in during my summer stay, and the elevator's a bit slow - but honestly, these are pretty small complaints. I'd definitely book here again, especially for longer stays where having that extra space and kitchen setup really makes a difference.

Very good and clean
The hotel was clean and comfortable, with a great breakfast and an amazing location. However, the street noise was a real issue. We stayed in a city-view room, but the noise from the busy street, day and night, made it hard to relax. If you’re planning to stay here, I’d definitely recommend choosing a courtyard-view room instead. The hotel would really benefit from upgrading the windows to block out the noise better. Also, the smart lighting system in the room was a bit tricky to figure out. That said, everything else about our stay was excellent, and I’d happily come back again!

First Impressions When I first pulled up to Kease Narjis B-6 Luxury Gold AG64, I’ll be honest — the name’s a bit of a mouthful, but the place itself is surprisingly welcoming. This three-star property sits right on Sharia Al Qana in Riyadh, and you know what struck me immediately? The staff actually seemed genuinely […]

Self check in apartment
First Impressions The Self check in apartment caught me off guard in the best way possible. I’ll be honest — I was a bit skeptical about the whole self check-in concept at first, but this place in Riyadh‘s As Salamah district completely changed my mind. The moment you pull up, there’s this immediate sense that […]

Radisson Blu Hotel and Convention Center, Riyadh Minhal
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard about the Radisson Blu Hotel and Convention Center, Riyadh Minhal, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the location. The Minhal area isn’t exactly where most tourists end up, but you know what? That actually turned out to be one of its biggest advantages. You’re getting […]

You know what really surprised me about السعاده بالاس للشقق المخدومه? The name translates to “Happiness Palace Serviced Apartments,” and honestly – it actually lives up to that rather bold promise. I mean, when you see a 4-star property with a 9.3 rating, you’re naturally a bit skeptical, right? But this place genuinely gets the […]
