I’ll be honest, I was a bit skeptical when I first booked it (that 8.0 rating seemed almost too good to be true), but sometimes those mid-range gems really deliver where the fancy places fall short.

The studio itself has this lived-in comfort that feels authentic rather than staged. The kitchenette is actually functional – not just some token mini-fridge and hot plate situation. I ended up cooking breakfast there most mornings, and honestly, having that option saved me both money and the hassle of hunting down decent coffee at 7 AM. The bed situation is solid too, which matters more than people realize when you’re trying to recover from long travel days. What really won me over were the little touches – proper blackout curtains (thank god), enough outlets where you actually need them, and storage space that makes sense for someone living out of a suitcase.

Here’s the thing though – don’t expect hotel-level service because, well, it’s not a hotel. Check-in was straightforward enough, but you’re pretty much on your own after that, which I actually preferred. The neighborhood has this quiet residential vibe that I found pretty relaxing, especially in the evenings when things settle down. Parking wasn’t a nightmare, which honestly surprised me, and I could walk to a decent grocery store and a few casual restaurants without much trouble. If you’re the type who needs someone to fluff your pillows and bring you fresh towels daily, this probably isn’t your speed. But if you want a clean, comfortable base where you can actually spread out and feel somewhat normal – maybe work a bit, cook a simple meal, just exist without feeling like you’re camping in someone else’s fancy living room – then this place makes a lot of sense. For what you’re paying, it’s one of those spots that just works without trying too hard to impress you.

  What could be improved: The room has only three available power outlets; two are inaccessible, and the remaining outlet is poorly positioned for optimal work and study using electronic devices. Other than this, everything was optimal.
