The fridge was properly cold, the stovetop worked without any mysterious clicks or delays, and they'd even stocked some basic spices, which was a nice touch I wasn't expecting.

What really sold me on the place though was how quiet it gets at night. During the day there's the usual city hum, but once evening rolls around, it's remarkably peaceful for a 4-star spot in what feels like a pretty central location. The bed situation is solid too – not too soft, not like sleeping on a board, just that sweet spot where you don't wake up with a crick in your neck. The bathroom's got one of those rainfall showerheads that actually has decent water pressure, and the mirror doesn't fog up immediately, which are honestly the kind of details that make or break a stay for me. I did notice the air conditioning took a little while to kick in when I first arrived, but once it got going it was perfectly fine – just something to keep in mind if you're arriving on a particularly hot day and want to cool things down quickly. The 9.5 rating makes total sense once you've been there a day or two, because it's those small things done right that really add up.
