The thing about staying here is that it genuinely feels like a residence – and I don’t mean that in some cheesy marketing way. The rooms have this lived-in quality that’s comfortable without being stuffy, and honestly, the kitchenette situation is a game-changer if you’re staying more than a couple nights in Riyadh. You can actually cook something decent instead of relying on room service every meal (though their room service isn’t bad either, just saying). The beds are properly firm – none of that sinking-into-quicksand nonsense you sometimes get – and the blackout curtains actually work, which matters more than you’d think when you’re dealing with jet lag and the intense Saudi sun.

What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to know the city inside and out. Not just the obvious tourist spots, but like, where to find decent coffee at 6 AM or which entrance to use at the nearby shopping areas to avoid the weekend crowds. The concierge – I think his name was Ahmed – gave me directions that actually made sense instead of just pointing vaguely and saying “that way.” And parking? Surprisingly painless, even during busy periods. The garage isn’t some nightmare maze like you find at bigger chain hotels. It’s straightforward, well-lit, and you don’t feel like you need a GPS to find your car again. The four-star rating feels spot-on too – it’s polished and professional without the pretentious attitude that sometimes comes with five-star places. You get quality without the stuffiness, if that makes sense.
