The check-in process was smoother than I expected, though the lobby can get a bit hectic during peak hours (learned that the hard way when I arrived during what seemed like rush hour for business travelers). What I really appreciated was how the staff actually seemed to know the area well – when I asked about getting to Kingdom Centre, they gave me specific route suggestions that locals would know, not just the obvious main roads.

The rooms themselves are spacious, which is something you don’t always get with these modern tower hotels. I stayed on one of the higher floors and the view over the city at night was actually pretty spectacular – all those lights stretching out across the desert landscape.
