Cantonal Hotel by Warwick
About
First Impressions
Walking into Cantonal Hotel by Warwick, you immediately sense this is a place that gets the details right. The four-star property sits confidently in Al Olaya District — honestly, one of the smartest locations you could ask for in Riyadh. There's something refreshingly understated about the lobby that I appreciated; it's polished without trying too hard to impress. The staff greeted me with genuine warmth, and I could tell right away this wasn't going to be one of those sterile business hotels where you feel like just another room number.
Location & Neighborhood
Al Olaya is where Riyadh really comes alive, and this hotel puts you right in the thick of it. You're walking distance from some of the city's best shopping and dining — Kingdom Centre is practically next door, which means you can hit the Sky Bridge or grab dinner at any number of excellent restaurants without dealing with traffic. What I found particularly smart about the location is how it balances accessibility with quiet; you're close enough to everything that matters, but the hotel itself feels like a peaceful retreat. Couples especially seem to love this spot (they rate the location 9.4, which honestly doesn't surprise me at all).
The Room Experience
My room struck that perfect balance between contemporary comfort and local sensibility. The space felt thoughtfully designed rather than cookie-cutter — you know how some hotel rooms could be anywhere in the world? This wasn't that. The bed was genuinely comfortable, and I appreciated the attention to lighting; there were enough options that I could actually read comfortably or work on my laptop without squinting. The bathroom was well-appointed with good water pressure, which might sound basic but you'd be surprised how many places get this wrong.
Breakfast & Dining
The breakfast buffet here is actually worth getting up for — and I say that as someone who usually just grabs coffee and runs. They've got continental options alongside local favorites, plus solid vegetarian and halal selections that go beyond the usual afterthought offerings. What impressed me was the quality; everything felt fresh and purposeful rather than just filling space on a buffet line. The dining area has a nice energy in the morning too, with a mix of business travelers and couples that creates this pleasant, cosmopolitan vibe.
Why Guests Love It
There's free private parking, which anyone who's driven in Riyadh will tell you is worth its weight in gold. But beyond the practical stuff, Cantonal Hotel by Warwick just feels like a place that understands what modern travelers actually want — reliable comfort, genuine service, and a location that doesn't waste your time. The 9.0 rating makes perfect sense when you experience how everything works together seamlessly. It's the kind of place where small touches add up to something bigger, and you leave feeling like you made a smart choice rather than just booking whatever was available.

Their willingness to assist especially in extending my stay, and their constant readiness to help demonstrated true professionalism and kindness making my experience both enjoyable and unforgettable.
Location, clean and friendly staff
everything was perfect, special thanks to Ibrahim, he solved the problem we faced and gave us the room we were looking for.
Breakfast was good but suggestion to add more choices for Asian and American. Other than that it was good. The dine in resto is very spacious ,clean and nice ambiance with wide array of fruits and pastries.
