About

First Impressions

Walking into Art View Hotel Al Riyadh, you immediately notice how they've managed to strike that perfect balance between modern comfort and local character. The lobby has this clean, contemporary feel without being sterile — honestly, it's refreshing after dealing with Riyadh's bustling streets. What caught my attention right away was how the staff genuinely seemed to care about making your stay work, not just going through the motions you sometimes get at four-star properties.

Location & Getting Around

King Abdullah Road is actually one of those addresses that sounds intimidating but works perfectly in practice. You're close enough to the action without being stuck in traffic constantly, and I mean, couples are rating this location 8.7 out of 10 for good reason. The parking situation alone makes this place worth considering — free private spots are genuinely hard to find in this part of the city. You can easily reach the main business districts, and there's decent access to shopping areas without that hour-long crawl through downtown traffic.

The Room Experience

My room was what I'd call thoughtfully designed rather than flashy. The air conditioning actually works properly (trust me, this matters in Riyadh), and the beds are comfortable enough that you'll sleep well after long days exploring or working. The bathrooms are modern and well-maintained, though not huge — but honestly, everything you need is there. What I appreciated most was the attention to details like proper lighting for reading and enough outlets for all your devices. The furnishings blend functionality with style, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes extended stays feel comfortable and homey.

Breakfast & Dining

The breakfast setup here is surprisingly comprehensive for a four-star hotel. They've got continental options, but also vegetarian, vegan, and halal choices that actually taste good — not just afterthoughts. The Asian and American selections give you variety if you're staying multiple nights, and the buffet layout flows well without those annoying bottlenecks. I tried the breakfast-to-go option once when I had an early meeting, and they put together something substantial, not just a sad pastry and coffee. The restaurant staff demonstrates genuine hospitality, remembering preferences and accommodating special requests with ease.

Why Guests Love It

You know what really sets this place apart? It's that they seem to understand what travelers actually need rather than what looks good in photos. The 7.9 rating reflects genuine satisfaction — people leave feeling like they got solid value. The location works for both business and leisure travelers, the service feels personal without being intrusive, and everything from the Wi-Fi to the housekeeping just works reliably. It's not trying to be the fanciest hotel in Riyadh, but it delivers consistently on the things that matter most when you're away from home. This apartment-style kitchen access in select suites adds another layer of convenience for longer stays.

The room (Superior Room) was big and with balcony, which is important for a family. The bad is not king size, but usual size. Cleaning service was provided every day. Food can be ordered and delivered to the room during the whole day.
