The lobby hits you with that clean, understated vibe that immediately puts you at ease, and the staff actually seems genuinely happy to see you walk through the door, which is rarer than it should be these days.

What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to nail the basics while adding those little touches that show someone’s actually thinking about the guest experience. The rooms are larger than you’d expect for a mid-range place – I mean, you can actually open your suitcase without rearranging all the furniture first. The beds are properly comfortable (not those rock-hard mattresses some hotels seem to think pass for “firm support”), and the bathrooms are modern without being sterile. I particularly appreciated that the shower actually has decent water pressure and stays at the temperature you set it to. Small things, sure, but they matter when you’re trying to wash off a long day of exploring.

The breakfast situation is solid too – nothing fancy, but fresh and well-prepared with enough variety that you won’t get bored if you’re staying multiple nights. They seem to understand that travelers want options beyond stale pastries and watery coffee. Actually, speaking of coffee, theirs is surprisingly good for a hotel this size. I found myself grabbing an extra cup most mornings just because I could. The dining area gets decent natural light, which makes starting your day feel less institutional and more, well, human. What really sold me on this place though is that 8.0 rating – that’s not an accident. You can tell they’re consistently hitting the mark with guests because the whole operation feels well-oiled without being overly corporate. The housekeeping is thorough, the front desk remembers your name after the first night, and everything from the elevators to the hallway lighting just works the way it should. It’s the kind of place where you don’t spend your stay dealing with little annoyances, which honestly is all most of us really want from a hotel anyway.
