I mean, when I first walked into the lobby, I was expecting something pretty standard – maybe a bit tired around the edges – but this place has this clean, modern vibe that immediately puts you at ease. The staff actually seemed genuinely happy to see guests, which isn’t always a given, and the whole check-in process was surprisingly smooth.

What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to nail the basics while adding those little touches that make you feel like they actually care. The rooms are well-thought-out – not huge, but everything has its place, and the beds are legitimately comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses, so this matters). The bathrooms are spotless, and they’ve got this nice rainfall showerhead that’s way better than what you’d expect in this price range. Actually, the water pressure was excellent throughout my stay, which – let’s be honest – can be hit or miss at hotels in this category.

I spent a good chunk of time just hanging around the common areas, and you can tell they put effort into creating spaces where people actually want to spend time. The WiFi is solid throughout the building (tested it everywhere, naturally), and there are these comfortable seating areas where you can work or just relax without feeling like you’re camping out in a sterile business center. The whole place has this welcoming energy – guests chatting in the lobby, staff members who remember your name after day one, that sort of thing. Honestly, with an 8.5 rating, I was expecting it to be good, but this place exceeded those expectations in ways that the numbers don’t quite capture. It’s not trying to be something it’s not, which I really appreciate – just a solid, well-run hotel that makes you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive until you’re reluctantly checking out.
