The suites – because that’s really what they are – have this lived-in quality that I mean in the best possible way. You’ve got proper kitchen setups, not those sad little mini-fridges and instant coffee makers you usually get. I’m talking full-sized refrigerators, decent cookware, and counter space where you can actually spread out if you want to grab groceries from the local market and make breakfast yourself. The living areas are spacious enough that you don’t feel like you’re tripping over your luggage every time you turn around, which honestly made such a difference during my stay.

The thing about 4-star places is they can go either way – sometimes you get all the amenities without the personality, or you get charm but miss out on the practical stuff. This place actually strikes a pretty good balance. The housekeeping is thorough without being intrusive, and the staff seems to understand that when you’re staying in apartment-style accommodation, you probably want a bit more independence than your typical hotel guest. I noticed they’re not constantly knocking on your door asking if you need fresh towels – they trust you to call if you need something. The Wi-Fi was reliable throughout my stay, which is crucial when you’re trying to work from your temporary base. Air conditioning worked well too, though I will say the controls took me a minute to figure out (they’re labeled in Arabic, naturally). One small thing – the check-in process was smoother than I expected, but if you’re arriving late, definitely give them a heads up because the front desk isn’t staffed 24/7 like some of the bigger chain hotels. Overall though, if you’re looking for something that feels more like a temporary home than a hotel stay, and you don’t need all the bells and whistles of a 5-star resort, this place delivers on what it promises.
