The 8.5 guest rating makes sense too – I noticed little touches that show they actually listen to feedback, like decent water pressure in the shower (trust me, you’ll appreciate this after a long day exploring) and blackout curtains that actually block out the morning light if you want to sleep in. The neighborhood gets pretty quiet after evening prayers, which is perfect if you’re one of those travelers who needs proper sleep to function. Parking can be a bit tricky during busy times – you might need to circle the block once or twice, but that’s pretty standard for residential areas here. The check-in process was smoother than I expected, and the staff seemed genuinely interested in making sure I knew where to find the good local spots for breakfast and late-night snacks. There’s this little bakery about a five-minute walk away that does incredible fresh bread in the mornings – the kind of local gem you’d never find if you stayed in the more touristy parts of the city.
