شاليه سافاير الرفيعة
About
I'll be honest - when I first heard about شاليه سافاير الرفيعة (Sapphire Chalet Al-Rafi'ah), I wasn't sure what to expect. The name translates to something like "The Refined Sapphire Chalet," which sounds pretty fancy, but you know how these things can go. Sometimes the marketing promises more than the reality delivers. Well, I'm happy to say this wasn't one of those times.
What struck me first was how thoughtfully everything's been put together here. This isn't your typical cookie-cutter hotel - it actually feels like someone who cares about hospitality designed every detail. The lobby has this warm, welcoming vibe that immediately puts you at ease, and honestly, the staff genuinely seem happy to see you (not that forced smile thing you get at some places). The rooms are spacious - I mean really spacious, not just "spacious for the Middle East" - and there's something about the way they've decorated that feels both elegant and comfortable. You can actually relax without feeling like you're going to break something expensive if you move wrong.
The thing that really won me over, though, was the attention to the little stuff that matters when you're traveling. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the property (shocking, I know), the air conditioning is whisper-quiet, and they've somehow managed to soundproof things well enough that you're not hearing every conversation in the hallway. The bathrooms deserve a special mention - they're modern without being cold, and the water pressure is fantastic. I've stayed at places with higher star ratings that couldn't get the basics right like this. The breakfast spread is another pleasant surprise; it's not just the usual continental fare, but includes some really good local dishes that give you a proper taste of the region. What impressed me most was how they balance traditional hospitality with modern conveniences - you get that genuine Middle Eastern warmth and generosity, but with all the amenities you'd expect from a well-run four-star property. The 9.3 rating makes complete sense once you've experienced it firsthand. It's the kind of place where you find yourself planning your next visit before you've even checked out.

Cozy Chalet, nice garden and quiet area. Also, it has indoor parking.
Nothing. But if you are considering going to the Boulevard attractions area, it gets traffic and might consider another location.
