The moment I walked in, it felt like someone had taken all the best parts of contemporary design and actually made them livable – not just Instagram-worthy. I mean, so many places with "modern" in the name end up feeling cold or sterile, but this one gets it right. The lobby has this warm, minimalist vibe with these gorgeous textured walls that I couldn't stop running my hands over (yeah, I'm that person), and the lighting is absolutely perfect – bright enough that you're not squinting at your phone, but soft enough that you don't feel like you're in an office building.
What I really appreciated was how thoughtfully everything was designed for actual human beings. The studio layout is clever – they've managed to make the space feel surprisingly spacious without any weird awkward corners where you bump into furniture. The kitchenette area is compact but functional (I actually cooked a couple of meals there), and honestly, the bed situation is fantastic. I'm pretty picky about mattresses, and this one hit that sweet spot between firm and plush. The bathroom deserves a mention too – the shower pressure was excellent, which you never know you'll get until you're standing there at 7 AM hoping for the best.
The 8.0 rating makes total sense to me because while this isn't luxury-resort territory, it's exactly what you want from a well-run 4-star place. The staff were genuinely helpful without being overly formal about it, and check-in was refreshingly smooth. I stayed during what seemed like a busy period, but the common areas never felt crowded or chaotic. The soundproofing is solid too – I barely heard any hallway noise, which is honestly rare these days. My only minor gripe would be that the AC took a while to kick in properly, but once it did, the temperature control was spot-on. If you're looking for somewhere that feels both polished and comfortable – like staying at a design-savvy friend's place rather than a corporate hotel – this place really delivers on that promise.
