The beds were comfortable enough (though I’m not super picky about that stuff), and the air conditioning worked well, which is definitely not something you want to gamble on.

The location turned out to be pretty solid too – not right in the thick of tourist central, which I actually preferred because it felt more authentic. You’re close enough to get wherever you need to go without dealing with all the chaos and inflated prices of the main hotel district. Parking wasn’t a nightmare either, which anyone who’s driven in busy Middle Eastern cities will tell you is basically a miracle. I noticed the place tends to fill up with business travelers and families staying for longer stretches, so there’s this calm, residential vibe rather than the constant turnover energy you get at tourist hotels. The 8.5 rating makes complete sense to me – it’s not trying to be something fancy and pretentious, but it delivers really well on what it promises. If you’re looking for Instagram-worthy luxury, this probably isn’t your spot, but if you want a clean, comfortable place with helpful staff where you can actually relax and feel settled, it’s definitely worth considering.
